The Brookland-Lakeview Empowerment Center (BLEC) has partnered with S.C. WORKS, South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW) and Brookland Baptist Church to become a “Connection Point”, a program aimed to assist the unemployed find a job as well as employees seeking new opportunities that will lead to career advancement. Other benefits are also part of the program.
