Brookland-Lakeview Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Program



Services available to individuals or households who qualify:
• Mediation between landlords and tenants
• Eviction prevention and eviction diversion programs
• Case management to assist individuals with housing stability
Eligibility Qualifications (You must have all three to qualify for supportive services):
1. Individual and/or household negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic (including current inflation).
2. Individual or household currently experiencing homelessness or at risk for homelessness or housing instability.
3. Household income is at or less than 80% of the area median income. (LEARN MORE)

Our goal is to improve the futures of families and their children at risk of becoming homeless, or experiencing homelessness by providing long term case management. The Two-Generation Approach helps families get out of and stay out of poverty by providing programs and services centered around the following components:

1. Parents
- Cultivating Financial Security
- Maintain Monthly Budget
- Furthering Adult Education
- Higher Paying Career Coaching
2. Children
- Support with school transfers
- Tutoring, Mentoring, Homework Assistance, and Character Building
- Assistance with Medical Appointments for a child
3. Home
- Maintain/ Obtain Housing
- Food Resources
- Clothing Resources
