About the Program

The program provides nutrition education, share/highlight food entrepreneurship opportunities & career paths, healthy cooking classes, and providing gardening and growing practices and education to youth, teens, and adults. The program’s goal coincides with the USDA’s goal of providing all Americans access to a safe, nutritious, and secure food supply. This project also provides an opportunity for the community to work together and support healthy community relationships through farmers markets, roadside stands, and community gardens.
