2026 Launch Carolinas Leadership Accelerator
Dr. Cotton was selected as one of just 12 nonprofit leaders from more than 100 applicants for the 2026 Launch Carolinas Leadership Accelerator Program.
The multi-year program supports nonprofit leaders across North and South Carolina through leadership development, strategic support, philanthropic partnerships, and organizational investment. Participating leaders and their organizations may receive up to $185,000 in support over four years.
Her selection recognizes her demonstrated leadership and BLEC’s continued work to strengthen and expand programs that create meaningful opportunities for the community.
2026 South Carolina Women in Business Award
Dr. Cotton was honored as a 2026 South Carolina Women in Business Award recipient, recognizing her leadership, professional accomplishments, and contributions to the community.
NAACP Legacy of Excellence Award
Dr. Cotton was honored with the NAACP Legacy of Excellence Award in recognition of her leadership, service, and commitment to making a lasting difference in the community.
