We’re excited share that the BLEC was featured on CNN over the weekend (story starts at 5:00 mark). The story features interviews from BLEC’s Executive Director Cindye Richburg-Cotton and mentee Tymir Lowman speaking on the Nephron visit and the Creators Wanted Tour. The primary objective of the tour was for youth and teens to learn about careers in the manufacturing industry. The BLEC took the mentees on the tour where they participated in the Creators Wanted simulations and ultimately learned more about the manufacturing industry.
